Human Series
There is a gratefulness in being raised with love and affection, where values of human equality and respect for every other human being become part of a deeply embedded value system as we go through life. Approaching people without prejudice so that every new human encounter is one that starts as a blank slate. Unfortunately, the world works differently for too many people as we face global social and financial inequality, nearly 26 million refugees, (institutional) racism, police brutality and the rise of nationalism and populist parties, sowing the seeds of despair and injustice.
What is at the root of this and how do we break this unhealthy pattern? The answer is not singular, but we can do something, say something, and contribute to moving to a more equal world for all humans. We can begin by respecting what makes us different and focusing on what unites us and by letting differences be enriching and the most obvious unification be our strength. Because human is what we all are. Sharing this earth, breathing the same air and drinking the same water. All descending from parents and dying to dust.
Inspired by our gut feeling and global events we give voice to our views by creating the Human Series. A project we do to spread the notion of common ground, of humanity, of love and respect and the fact that we are one. Regardless of race, religion, gender, political views and financial status.
We love to contribute.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
